 6.01.09 Mackay Marine Expands – Rotterdam Office, Product Offering and Technical Service Capabilities Mackay Marine is strategically positioning itself to better serve its current and expanding customer base with enhanced product lines, increased international staff and service sector support. Mackay World Service continues to see a record trend of providing global maritime equipment repair in 2009; outpacing our 2008 run-rate. Much of this growth is the result of being selected as authorized service agents for the majority of marine electronic equipment manufacturers, coupled with Mackay’s industry-leading commitment to ongoing and concentrated service training courses. Mackay acting as agent for Danelec’s VDRs and SVDRs, complete with factory-trained technicians nationwide and spare pares service kits. Danelec, based in Denmark, has fitted over 1,500 (S)VDRs. Mackay Authorized Service for full line of (S)VDRs: Danelec, Broadgate, Furuno, JRC, Maris, Netwave, Rutter, Samsung and Transas. Maris: Effective February 15, 2009 ... Mackay Marine became an authorized service agent for Maris VDRs and SVDRs. Tokyo Keiki: June 1, 2009 ... Mackay certified agent for Tokyo Keiki TG-6000 & TG-8000 gyros, and PR-8000 Auto-pilot. The agency is limited to selected USA ports in which Mackay has factory-trained technicians and spare parts service kits. July 1, 2009 ... Tokyo Keiki GMDSS, Radio, SSAS, AIS, and INMARSAT products, with factory-trained technicians and spare parts kits. Samsung: Effective June 15, 2009 ... Mackay will represent Samsung VDRs and SVDRs, complete with trained, certified technicians and spare parts kits.
