 9.01.05 Mackay is Growing especially in Houston Mackay is building a brand new 14,000 square foot building to accommodate the growth of our Houston Depot. They have occupied the same 6,000 square foot metal warehouse for nearly 40 years! Houston now has 24 employees, with many people doubling up in offices. The new building is designed to accommodate 45 employees, and we anticipate it will grow by as many as eight in the first year. The new building will also showcase our company. The Texas and Louisiana Gulf is a massive complex of ports, which attracts many ship owners and OEMs to surrounding cities each year. Our new building will further promote Mackay as a professional and prospering business. All plans have been approved and groundbreaking should occur this month. We anticipate the building will be ready for occupancy in March 2006. |
