Nauticast Chooses Mackay Marine for A.I.S. Representative in the U.S.

Houston, TX (June 2003) Benefiting from each other’s strengths, Austrian-based Nauticast and Mackay Marine, Division of Mackay Communications, Inc., will partner with Nauticast for installations, sales and service of Nauticast’s state-of-the-art AIS-technology to the U.S. market.

Nauticast is an AIS-Specialist, focusing on the development, production and distribution of innovative AIS systems and is currently concentrating on the requirements of the commercial maritime industry. Their X-Pack DS AIS Transponder is BSH-Wheelmark approved. Dedicated shore-based systems for RIS (River Information System) and VTS (Vessel Traffic Service) applications are already available and in operation in several European countries. All Nauticast products undergo strict quality control testing by it’s manufacturing partner – Siemens of Austria.
