Yokogawa CMZ900D Gyro System & Control Box MKC321 Yokogawa CMZ900 Gyrocompass System Series replaces the CMZ700 Gyro Series. The new Gyro Series consists of three model types, depending on your maritime application: CMZ900B: Single-unit model, for small vessels CMZ900S: Single-unit model, for all merchant vessels CMZ900D: Dual-unit model for extra reliability The CMZ900D Gyrocompass System contains two sets of MKM026 Master Compasses and a single MKC321 Dual Control Box; providing all the features of the CMZ900S system, plus redundancy & duplicated heading reference monitoring. CMZ900D Feature Summary: (See Spec Sheet for Details) - The CMZ900 Series facilitates easy adaptation for customized systems and installations. - Improved vibration and anti-shock mechanism has been achieved by incorporating a new universal joint and outer bellows dampening system, in addition to the rubber isolator and the existing bellows damper. - The reduced size and weight of the container and improved follow-up speed, allows the gyrocompass’ repeater compasses to keep a smooth, synchronous track of the heading, even onboard fast-turning small vessels. -ONE of the CMZ900D's Master Compasses & Control Box can be installed in the PT500 or 70 Series autopilot stand; the second compass can be located in a convenient area or accessible void. - Automatic Speed Error Correction, derived by an input from the speed log and position (latitude) information from devices such as a GPS, etc. - Selectable External Heading Sensors (magnetic compass, GPS compass, etc.); driving all repeaters connected to the 900 Series system. The repeater heading is automatically synchronized with the gyro heading; when the external device is “selected”, the repeaters are again synchronized to the external heading device. CMZ900D Gyrocompass standard feature. - The CMZ900D continuously monitors the deviation of No. 1 & No. 2 gyrocompasses. In addition to the software changeover function on the operation panel (C operation unit), a back-up hardware mechanical changeover function is provided. CMZ900D Basic Unit Configuration: Master Compass (MKM026) consists of a control unit, container unit & anti-vibration mechanism. The north-seeking gyrosphere is suspended in the container unit. Control Box MKC327: * Receives heading signals from the two master compasses. * By means of a switch function, the selected master compass transmits the heading signals to repeater compasses and other ship’s equipment. The heading of all repeater compasses will align with the selected master compass heading, by a simple “push of a button”. Dual AC Adapter MKS066: * Dual AC Adapter - capable of simultaneous AC power to two master compasses. * Two-Way AC & DC power supply for each master compass easily achieved, if needed.
