Product Datasheet
| FEATURES | | | Smaller size and lighter weight, compared to previous Yokogawa speed logs and to other manufacturer’s models. | | | With a built-in pre-amplifier, the log sensor can transmit data over longer distances (max 300m), coupled with a reduction in noise along the line and noise-induced errors. | | | The EML500 can receive back-up signals (NMEA-0183) from external speed sensors, such as global positioning systems (GPS). | | | External interfaces include pulse output, digital output and input (NMEA-0183), analog speed output, alarm contact output, etc. | | | Utilizing highly integrated circuits (i.e., microprocessor), reduces number of parts, eliminates moving parts and improves reliability. | | | Flush mountable sensor (48mm to 70mm) below the bottom plate of the vessel, thus suitable even for high-speed vessels. | | | Built-in self-diagnostic function | | | Optional dual-axis sensor measures the longitudinal and the transverse speed. |
