Yokogawa CMZ700D Gyro System and Control Box MKC321
Yokogawa’s CMZ700D gyrocompass system, consists of two sets of MKM022 master compasses. This combination provides commercial vessels with a multitude of outputs, speed and error heading corrections and emergency power from a 24VDC battery back-up system. In addition to providing all of the features of the “S” system, the “D” system is incorporated with redundancy and duplicated heading reference monitoring. The CMZ700D is one of three products in Yokogawa’s CMZ700 gyrocompass series, which facilitates easy adaptation for customized systems and installations.
Target Markets:
Commercial Vessels. The output signal from the control box for the repeater compass is applicable to specs of large vessels over 500 tons, with need for added monitoring and redundant data sources.
| FEATURES | | | Improved vibration and anti-shock mechanism | | | With the reduced size and weight of the container and the improved follow-up speed, the gyrocompass allows repeater compasses to keep a smooth, synchronous track of the heading even onboard fast-turning small vessels | | | One of the master compasses and control box of the CMZ700D can be installed in the PT500 or 70 Series Autopilot stand while the second compass can be located in a convenient area or accessible void. | | | Automatic speed error correction derived by an input from the speed log and position (latitude) information from device’s such as a GPS, etc. | | | External heading sensors (magnetic compass, GPS compass, etc.) can be selected and can drive all of the repeaters connected to the 700 series Gyrocompass. The repeater heading is automatically synchronized with the gyro heading and then when the external device is selected, the repeaters are again synchronized to the external heading device. Standard feature on the CMZ700S Gyrocompass | | | The CMZ700D continuously monitors the deviation of No. 1 and No. 2 gyrocompasses. In addition to the software changeover function on the operation panel, a back-up hardware mechanical changeover function is provided |
