Yokogawa CMZ700B Gyro System
The Yokogawa CMZ700B is the basic “all-in-one” gyrocompass version of the CMZ700 series. This system is able to drive repeater compass directly by the master compass. With the reduced size and weight of the container and the improved follow-up speed, the gyrocompass allows repeater compasses to keep a smooth, synchronous track of the heading even onboard fast-turning small vessels.
Target Markets:
Low initial-cost system that is a highly reliable solution for a variety of vessels from workboats to coastal cruise and survey ships, meeting basic compliancy regulations
Product Datasheet
| FEATURES | | | Improved vibration and anti-shock mechanism | | | Gimbal-less mechanism improves reliability and reduces the size and weight of the container | | | Smaller container mass reduces burden on the compass motor (stepping motor) and results in 30'/s follow-up speed; important for small high-speed turning vessels. | | | Back-up by external heading signal (Magnetic compass, GPS compass etc.) can drive all repeater systems. | | | Repeater heading is automatically synchronized from gyro heading to external heading. | | | Auto speed-error correction function (Option) | | | Repeater compass signal is transmitted by digital signal which results in minimal radiated interference (EMI), conforming to IEC 60945 standard | | | Built-in the restart timer from 1 to 99 hours | | | Low power consumption and Optional AC adapter for back-up power |
